So yesterday it was time for us to take EMMAS to Vilhelmina, and all said and done we steered towards our partners at @wilhelmina_fritidsgard
Once there, 7 expectant and lovely children were waiting. But for anyone who has ever created something truly brilliant, knows that it doesn’t happen on an empty stomach so the first thing we did was get some food before the big mission.
Satisfied and recharged, we went to a well-selected location and there began an intense and concentrated teamwork that resulted in a fantastic three-dimensional creation – the children’s own works of art!
We want to thank of course UG in Vilhelmina and staff and fantastic children, we want to thank @vilhelminafolketshus for the loan of space, lighting and for being so good, BIG, BIG THANKS once again @jan_philip_scheibe who guides and inspires the children in an excellent way to dare to do things that they have never done before. @jan_philip_scheibe is a fantastic artist but also an excellent role model that we are very proud to have with us at Ricklundgården!!
If you pass by Folkets Hus in Vilhelmina, take a look at this magnificent shape that was created yesterday. With the children, for the children and for all our children. Art is for everyone and we are keeping our fingers and toes crossed that the art next to the skateboard ramp will now be left untouched so that as many people as possible have the chance to see it!
To you, to every child who was there yesterday; Be proud!
