On February 1, 2022, Emma Ricklund’s foundation was granted SEK 2.2 million by @postkodstiftelsen and that was the start of our art education project EMMAS.
We could then, very happy and proud, finally tell you all that Saxnäs had got its own creative workshop.
“Culture and art are for everyone and this time it’s for the children and young people in our vast inland municipality!”
Today, 2 years later, the project has changed its name to KRAM, which is a 3-year Heritage Fund project (@Arvsfonden) that will develop a new culture-pedagogical working method where children’s and young people’s needs, reflections, wishes and the artistic process are at the center.
EMMAS will still be the name of the house and meeting place.
