Late drop-out makes it possible for you as an artist to live and work for 14 days in Saxnäs with us at Ricklundgården.

The application for residency is open!

Now it´s time to plan for new residency stays. This round, you will apply from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026, MARK your application with:
Residence 25/26.

Before you fill out the application form, carefully read our regulations, which can be found here on our website under “ART IN RESIDENCE” < APPLICATION. The application must be sent digitally as a PDF BEFORE March 31, 2025 to our email: info.ricklundgarden@gmail.com Responses to all artists will be sent out in the later part of May. The final decision will be made in communication with the artist and the organization (well in advance) before the estimated arrival. New for this year is that it is also possible to apply to our Writer's Cottage during certain months of the year. ~ Read more under Art in residence! ~ A warm welcome with your application!

The heritage fund project KRAM & EMMA’s art education workshop does not only work in Saxnäs!
Every other week our art educator is in Dikanäs at the school with the students there and every other week he is at Fritidsgården in Vilhelmina.

We depend on good cooperation to be able to be in three different locations in our vast municipality.
Distance Saxnäs – Dikanäs, 73 km one way.
Distance Saxnäs – Vilhelmina 90 km one way.

We are extremely happy that it works so well with (all) of our partners and think it is nice and important that all children get to experience, perform, see and hear about art & culture!
