Cut ribbons, drink coffee and eat cake and make your own cloth bags. Try to be a little creative, gather, talk, eat and be at a party!

Thanks to everyone who participated, thanks to Nina who cut the ribbon and represented Region Västerbotten. Many thanks to Malin, Hilda and Christer (one heart was to you)!

Thanks to Anna who was a big part of the creative approach and thanks to Per who had to pull in a little extra due to a temporary stop

Big THANKS to Nils (@staloaventyr) for all the pep and help at any time and thank you for lending us your nice tipi!

Everything really went as we had planned, even at the sun turned up shining on this special day, but something should always be forgotten, this time it was @hjelm_camilla who was absent from the thank you speech. BUT! Many thanks of course also to Camilla, without her we would probably have been in much less inspiring and pleasant environments. Tip! Check out some posts earlier – there are Camilla and her magic tree!

National Day today and we celebrate it in the small things by being in a home environment with loved ones.

On May 22, we will have a choir concert with live music at Saxnäs Church!

This is one of the many activities we have worked on—and continue to work on—within the Inheritance Fund project KRAM.

Hello all artists!

Thank you for all your applications for our residency. We are so happy and grateful for all the response and your willingness to work and live at Ricklundgården.
Many of you have applied for the same months / periods so we are keeping the application open until April 13 for the following months;
Folkes Ateljé – December, January
Annexet – November, December
Skrivarstugan – February, March, October

Then it was time to plan for new residency stays. This round you apply from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027, MARK your application with:
”Residence 26 / 27”.

Before you fill out the application form, carefully read our regulations which can be found on our website under “ART IN RESIDENCE” < APPLICATION. The application is sent digitally as a PDF BEFORE March 31, 2026 to our email: info.ricklundgarden@gmail.com Responses to all artists will be sent out in the latter part of May. • The final decision is made in communication with the artist and the organization (well in advance) before the estimated arrival. • Also new is that it is also possible to apply to our Skrivarstuga during certain months of the year. ~ Read more here on our website under the Art in residence tab • A warm welcome with your application!
