Like the flowers of the fireweed we are now also done blooming for this summer season.

We thank you for all the fantastic visits we have had and we humbly thank you for the respect everyone showed for each other when staying inside the museum’s walls. This summer we will be remembered as warm winds, filled with laughter and curious questions and as a summer when no distance was too far.

On Wednesday at 09 – 09:45 there will be an artist presentation by Roxanne Everett and Trapper Robbins, our current resident artists in Folkes Studio.
Both come from the USA so the presentation will be in English.
From 08:30 – 10:00 the same day there will also be waffles as usual.

On May 22, we will have a choir concert with live music at Saxnäs Church!

The picture shows part of the group participating. Even more dedicated people than those in the photo will take part in the concert itself.

Thank you for all your applications for our residency. We are so happy and grateful for all the response and your willingness to work and live at Ricklundgården.
Many of you have applied for the same months / periods so we are keeping the application open until April 13 for the following months;
