Fantastic, fun and well-filled working days are now over. We have had Art in Halland visiting, Region Halland and Västerbotten’s Art consultant from MAN Skellefteå here with us at Ricklundgården and EMMAS for three days. We have talked about future collaborations and Art Education as well as residency activities. Boy, so many plans have been hatched! 🙌🏼

I especially want to thank everyone who in one way or another participated in making these days so nice & valuable!

Many thanks to @klimpgubbenk2 for nice guiding in Fatmomakke, thanks to @klimpfjall.se for good food (especially the sorbet with blueberries and raspberries), thanks to Saxnäs Kyrka, @ridijorm_korpensoga for nice hospitality and good conversations, thanks to @bergmansfiskochvilt for in such a nice way hosted our lunch meeting and gave us food of excellent quality and last but not least a big thank you to Carina and her 2 fantastic students at,@vualtjerensaemiensiebriem ♥️

There is a lot of great culture to see and experience here, in and around Kultsjödalen and Vilhelmina municipality!

On Wednesday at 09 – 09:45 there will be an artist presentation by Roxanne Everett and Trapper Robbins, our current resident artists in Folkes Studio.
Both come from the USA so the presentation will be in English.
From 08:30 – 10:00 the same day there will also be waffles as usual.

On May 22, we will have a choir concert with live music at Saxnäs Church!

The picture shows part of the group participating. Even more dedicated people than those in the photo will take part in the concert itself.

This is one of the many activities we have worked on—and continue to work on—within the Inheritance Fund project KRAM.

Thank you for all your applications for our residency. We are so happy and grateful for all the response and your willingness to work and live at Ricklundgården.
Many of you have applied for the same months / periods so we are keeping the application open until April 13 for the following months;
