The artist talk will be led by Thomas May and Pirko Julia Schroeder.

Thomas May is the founder and director of the International Grass Blade Institute and has worked with the cultivated plant grass for over 25 years, both with installations and in a
participatory way. He has investigated all aspects of grass as a plant from a social, cultural and communicative perspective.
Pirko Julia Schroeder, lives and works as an artist and art educator in Nuremberg where she also studied at the Academy of Fine Arts. In her mostly photographic works, she documents and
transmits places and objects. Space, time and transience are themes that she works with.
