Semestertider

Parts of the crew at Ricklundgården/EMMAS have now gone on vacation.

The museum’s opening hours and information on how to book a guided tour this summer, as well as where to contact staff on site, can be found on our website;
www.ricklundgarden.com
During the summer we can only be reached via email, the phone also has some time off.

Between 17-20 June, you as a visitor can book a guided tour between 09.00-15.00. This should then be done no later than 24 hours before:
info.ricklundgarden@gmail.com

From week 26, our summer opening hours apply, which you can find on our website:
www.ricklundgarden.com

ATTENTION!! From week 26-34, we refer EVERYONE who has questions about the museum to our special “museum email”:
visning.ricklundgarden@gmail.com
This is to reduce the risk of something ending up with someone who is on holiday or in some junk mail.

New for this summer is that on Tuesday 9 & 16 July there will be a waffle café at EMMAS between 10.00-14.00.
EMMAS is located in the middle of Saxnäs, on the other side of the road opposite the store. Feel free to stop by and you’re welcome!

With that, we wish everyone a really nice summer!
Big hug from Tina, Malin, Christer & Kristoffer

They are here with their project “MOLN that carries our thoughts”, under the direction of the cultural association Historieberättarna.

• “This is an exhibition of different sculptural clouds made of paper. Created in several places in Sweden, by adults and children. The words, the messages written on each piece of paper are about peace and how to prepare for a better world. Everyone has been allowed to think completely freely about how they want the world to be better”.

• During Tove and Danae’s work at Ricklundgården with this project, children and young people from Saxnäs school, Dikanäs school and children and young people from the leisure center in Vilhelmina have participated.

• Tove Möller is an artist and works with sculpture and sound art. She is also an art educator. Tove lives in a village called Östaröd in Skåne.

Danae Valenza is an artist who comes from Australia but now lives in Stockholm. Danae has worked as an assistant professor at the Royal Academy of Arts and is also an exhibition technician who works with various art exhibitions.

• WARM WELCOME to the exhibition in Folkes Ateljé this Saturday between 11-15.

The museum is also open at the same times and new for this year is that the Student Council from Saxnäs Fjällskola will be selling coffee with us!

• We have limited space for cars up at house so we ask everyone with healthy legs to park down by the road in our car park or another place nearby. So that the space for cars up at Ricklundgården can be available to those who need it most. Thanks!
