The one who waits for something good

We at EMMA’s art education workshop, under the auspices of the KRAM Heritage Fund project, have been working all autumn with our small but very dedicated ensemble.
This has resulted in something we call “The little show with the big heart”.
The premiere takes place at Marsfjäll Mountain Lodge on Friday, January 10.

We really hope that we will see each other in the new year and that our little show can set a nice mark and a fun start to 2025.

Santa’s Christmas Eve food with classic side dishes was on the menu and the evening ended with Bingo!

We have been so incredibly happy that our idea with the Dinner Club has been appreciated. On each occasion we have had full tables, a hall and entrance flooded with clothes and shoes and there has been a loud murmur of people talking to each other. Thanks everyone!

Now there are only two occasions of Advent coffee at EMMAS, tomorrow from 08.30 and Thursday 19/12 at the same time.
Tonight is also the last opportunity with the Craft Club with Anna, from 18.00.
Then there will be some Christmas time off during the red days to start with a big bang in the form of a small show, Friday 10 January at the Lodge. More information about this will be available on our channels shortly.

Many thanks to our artist in residence Kyle McKenzie for your interesting talk on public paintings / murals.
Very interesting to learn about the importance of art in, for us, another part of the world. Kyle has traveled here from Joplin, Missouri, USA, to work on his art.
We were very inspired and it would have been fantastically exciting if Kultsjödalen and Vilhelmina municipality also had a large, public and perhaps historical mural of some kind.

The artist talk took place yesterday afternoon at EMMAS in Saxnäs.

We are approaching the last Dinnerclub for this year! Food creators for December is a collaboration between Niklas Andersson and EMMAS staff

There are a limited number of places, so pre-registration is required and it is first come, first served!

(On four occasions until Christmas, we open our Dinnerclub, through our Heritage Fund project KRAM “Creativity, Relationships, Everyone’s equal value, Courage to be yourself”. An opportunity to gather, meet and socialize around a meal that each month’s food team creatively plans and cooks).

Thank you to everyone involved, all visitors, the student council with teachers, parents and students who sold terrific baked gods in connection with the art exhibition that was in Folkes Ateljé last Saturday.

Thanks to everyone who gets involved in one way or another, big or small, to organize activities that inspire and bring people together.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Thanks also to Tove and Danae who worked so well with all the children and for the hospitality in the studio on Saturday.

Now it is the last week of November and the beautiful picture of the house is from today November 26th  -2024.
Now we await the first advent sunday!
