This Thursday will be the premiere of our afternoon coffee sessions!
In addition to coffee, these times will also contain cultural elements, it will of course vary depending on the season, what else we are working on educationally or which artists work in our residence.
Keep an eye on our channels! We announce artist presentations and the like separately, but as far as possible, the idea is that these should also be on Thursdays.
Hope to see you on February 13!
We have received a cancellation in our Annex studio in April, yes, things can arise and there can be obstacles.
• Annex Studio free 1-14 April. The cost is SEK 3,000.
• Fill in our application form and submit your application as soon as possible and tell us briefly why you want to work in our residence during these times.
A big THANK YOU to Marieke & Madelen for the open studio you both invited to yesterday! Can’t get too much of the good conversation and wonderful, amazing art!
• Thanks to everyone who came and made the evening rich with thoughts, reflections and dialogue
Now let the snow fall again and have a nice weekend!
Welcome to Open Studio, Thursday January 23 in the Annex up at Ricklundgården at 19.00!
Dutch artist Marieke van Rooy, partner of Mangano van Rooy https://www.instagram.com/mangano_vanrooy/, from Amsterdam, wants to share her artistic research on the importance of nature and the individual connection to nature in times when the climate is under pressure.
“This is a newly started research project and Marieke would like to exchange ideas with Kultsjödal residents about our contact with nature, we who live in southern Lapland, after all. The concept of nature on a personal level is closely linked to experiences from childhood, don’t you agree?”
